§ 01About the test
- A commonly cited average for visual reaction time is around 250 ms; well-rested players who practise often land lower.
- Your result includes your mouse, monitor and browser latency. A high refresh-rate screen and a wired mouse give a truer number.
- Reaction time is only one part of aim — target acquisition and precision usually matter more. Train them in Spidershot and Microshot.
§ 02FAQ
What is a good reaction time?
Around 250 ms is a commonly cited average. Under 200 ms is fast; competitive players are often in the 150–200 ms range on good hardware.
Why is my result slower than in other tests?
Different tests use different stimuli and hardware latency varies. Compare your own results on the same setup over time.
How can I improve my reaction time?
Sleep, warm up before playing, and train reactive drills. Spidershot measures reaction to off-centre targets.
